We broke up because we wanted different things (me=marriage, kids, house in city .... him = no marriage, no kids, house in country), so it was fairly amicable. I ran into him a few months later and the attraction was still there. So, we got back together for a short period of time.


Its tough to break up with someone and get over them. You tend to romanticize them - don't remember their faults and only remember the sweet things. Of course, being by yourself and possibly lonely also pushes you to go back.What made you go back to your ex boyfriend/girlfriend?
we broke up over a misunderstanding, he figured out the mistake right away and called nonstop, but i refused to speak/see him. i moved to vancouver, and he was going to move here too for school in a month. i texted him, ';when you get here we should talk. i want to make peace.'; then he asked if he could call me, and he explained the whole thing and apologized profusely. i felt pretty stupid. we laughed and got back together. it was dumb.
